Get ready to groove with DJ Yano (Luciano Gaggia), one of Italy's most iconic and enduring DJs and producers in the Afro and Cosmic alternative music scene. This unique genre originated and flourished in Northern Italian nightclubs starting in the 1980s. DJ Yano is a true pioneer, considered a pillar of the Italian Afro scene alongside legendary colleagues like DJ Baldelli and DJ Mozart. His DJ sets are a vibrant fusion of world music, tribal African percussion, electronic beats, reggae, and abstract, psychedelic sounds. Known for his high-energy live performances, often featuring live percussionists and impressive stage setups (like the "Yano Music Machine"), DJ Yano has also released dozens of successful compilations, including the famous Afro Project series, which has become a cult classic for vinyl collectors. Even today, DJ Yano continues to draw thousands of fans of all ages to clubs and piazza parties across Northern Italy.
