Join us for the 19th edition of the Sagra dei Fichi Secchi, a vibrant celebration of autumn flavors organized by Pro Loco Miglionico in Miglionico (MT). This three-day festival is packed with activities, including a commemorative conference marking Pro Loco's 20th anniversary, hands-on workshops demonstrating how to make traditional fig leaf decoctions, live concerts, guided excursions through the beautiful local landscape, traditional games, and delightful gastronomic evenings culminating in a convivial communal lunch. It's a perfect way to experience authentic Italian culture and taste the best of the season!
Indulge in the star of the festival: high-quality dried figs, a local specialty. Beyond figs, you'll discover a range of authentic autumn flavors and traditional dishes, perfect for a true taste of the region.
The festival kicks off on SEPTEMBER 18 at 6:00 PM with the ribbon-cutting ceremony, exhibition openings, and the Pro Loco Miglionico 20th Anniversary conference. On SEPTEMBER 19, stands open at 10:00 AM. In the afternoon, join the 'Camminata in rosa - Race for the cure' at 4:00 PM, followed by traditional games at 5:00 PM. At 6:00 PM, participate in a 'Fig Leaf Decoction' workshop. The evening features young talent Michela Salluce from The Voice Kids at 8:00 PM, and a concert by I Renanera at 9:00 PM. SEPTEMBER 20 starts with a guided excursion by LucAnima Experience at 8:30 AM, with stands opening at 10:00 AM. Enjoy an aperitivo with Filo at 11:00 AM, followed by a convivial communal lunch at 1:00 PM. The 'StraBradanica' run takes place at 3:00 PM, and another 'Fig Leaf Decoction' workshop at 6:00 PM. The festival concludes with a performance by Dino Paradiso – 'Ma io sono lucano' at 9:00 PM.
