The 39th Trofeo Carnera returns to Sequals to celebrate the legendary boxing champion Primo Carnera with a rich program of sports, culture, music, and food and wine. The event includes international boxing matches, book presentations, musical evenings with DJs, and delicious local specialties like arrosticini and Wiener Schnitzel. The festival kicks off on FRIDAY, JULY 10, '26, with a weigh-in for boxers at Villa Carnera at 4:00 PM, followed by a wreath-laying ceremony at Primo Carnera's tomb at 5:00 PM. At 6:00 PM, Villa Carnera hosts book presentations, including Gianni Minà's «Facce Piene di Pugni» and Del Bel Belluz's new book «Carnera - Primo per sempre». Food stands open at 6:00 PM with a Happy Hour featuring Masbo DJ. Enjoy 'Serata Fuoco alle Braci' with arrosticini at 7:00 PM, followed by music from Elvis & the Russian MaMa at 9:00 PM and a '90s-2000s party with Masbo DJ at 11:00 PM. SATURDAY, JULY 11, '26, sees food stands opening at 5:00 PM and gastronomic kiosks at 7:00 PM. The highlight is the 39º TROFEO CARNERA boxing event starting at 6:00 PM, featuring sparring matches for young athletes (10-13, Under 15, Under 17), international contests including OMAR BERTO VS FILIP DOSTANIC and DMYTRO TONYSCHEV VS STEFAN MIHAILOV, the European Lightweight Championship with ARIANNA TONELLO VS DJEMILLA GONTARUK, and the WBA Gold World Mini Flyweight Championship with VITTORIA PARIGI BINI VS CHAIMA BOUNOUAR. On SUNDAY, JULY 12, '26, join 'Sequals Pedala per Primo' cycling event with registrations at 8:00 AM in Piazza Pellarin and departure at 9:00 AM. Food and wine stands open at 12:00 PM. The afternoon at 5:00 PM offers family fun with face painting, workshops, a briscola tournament, and a Happy Hour with Fabione DJ. Enjoy 'Serata Folk Friulana' with Wiener Schnitzel at 7:00 PM, and music by Crotz Ta Palud at 9:00 PM. Throughout the event, Villa Carnera will be open for guided tours. Additionally, the archaeological collection and Casa del '900 at Villa Savorgnan (Lestans) will be open on Saturday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
