An enchanting summer theater festival held under the stars in Olevano sul Tusciano, offering a diverse array of performances and presentations. The program features theatrical plays, film previews, and a grand finale evening with awards and cabaret, culminating in a special appearance by guest of honor Sergio Rubini. All shows are free to attend.
Join us for a captivating summer of arts! The festival kicks off on June 16 at 7:30 PM with the presentation of Teatrando 11, featuring "IN...CANTO DI NOTE DISCIPLINATE" by the "Leonardo da Vinci" secondary school choir, directed by Prof. Giovanni GERMANO. On July 10 at 8:30 PM, catch a special preview of Teatrando 11 with "I GIORNI DELLA MERLA," a film by Marco AGOSTO exploring the phenomenon of Brigantaggio. Enjoy a series of theatrical performances: July 21 at 9:00 PM presents "GRAZIA, DISGRAZIA E MALUOCCHIO" by Eduardo Barra, directed by Antonietta Rubino, at Oratorio San Giuseppe di Battipaglia. On July 23 at 9:00 PM, see "QUESTI SONO PAZZI!" by Elio Perrella, directed by Virginia Tedesco, performed by "Teatro don" at Oratorio S. Giovanni Bosco e S. Michele Arcangelo di Olevano S/T. More plays include: July 27 at 9:00 PM, "TRUFFA? NO, GRAZIE... ESPEDIENTI DI SOPRAVVIVENZA" by Paola Contursi, performed by "I trolli quattro quarti." On July 28 at 9:00 PM, "A FIGLIATA" by Raffaele Viviani, directed by Rosita Sabetta, by Compagnia: I Pappici. And on July 30 at 9:00 PM, "PENSIONE 'O MARECHIARO" by Valerio Di Pirano, directed by Enzo Fauci, from Teatro Speranza di Battipaglia. The festival concludes on August 6 at 9:00 PM with a grand finale evening, including awards for the participating companies and a cabaret show featuring talented local artists. The special guest of honor for the evening will be Sergio Rubini.
