Tartufesta Sasso Marconi

Sagra · October 24, 2026 – November 1, 2026 · Sasso Marconi (Bologna)

The unmistakable aroma of truffles returns to the Bolognese Apennines with the highly anticipated Tartufesta Sasso Marconi, the most popular event in the Reno Valley. This celebration spans two weekends: October 24-25 and October 31-November 1, 2026, entirely dedicated to the 'King of the Forest and the Table.' The heart of the festival is Piazza dei Martiri, which transforms into the 'Piazza del Gusto' (Taste Square) for the occasion. Here, the exquisite local white truffle is the undisputed star. Visitors can admire and purchase truffles from local vendors and savor delicious dishes at the 'I Tartufai' Association's restaurant stand. Tartufesta is more than just gastronomy; it's also about culture and entertainment. The event features guided tours to historical, artistic, and naturalistic sites like the Borgo di Colle Ameno, the Museo Marconi, and the San Gherardo Natural Oasis. Additionally, traditional folk games and dance performances animate the festival days, making the experience even more engaging and enriching.
