The traditional Šmarna Miša festival celebrates the vibrant culture of Val Resia with three days of delicious food, lively music, and rich folklore. The program includes engaging cooking demonstrations, musical evenings featuring Lunis Funk and Cuatri francs, guided excursions into the beautiful surroundings, a watercolor workshop, a captivating performance by the Val Resia Folkloristic Group, and a spectacular fireworks display. Join us for three days of festivities at Šmarna Miša! 📅 FRIDAY, AUGUST 14 Start your day with 'Awakening Pilates' at 08:45, followed by the festival opening at 16:00. At 16:30, learn to make traditional Ćalćune in a special showcooking demonstration. The kitchen opens at 18:00, and the evening concludes with live music from Lunis Funk at 20:00. 📅 SATURDAY, AUGUST 15 Begin with a guided excursion by the Eco Museo Val Resia at 08:30. The festival reopens at 09:30, and at 10:00, unleash your creativity in a 'Painting Nature at Šmarna Miša' watercolor workshop. A Holy Mass and procession will take place at the Pieve Santuario di Santa Maria Assunta at 10:30. Enjoy an aperitif with DOC Collio and Colli Orientali del Friuli wine tasting at 11:00, with the kitchen opening at 11:30. The evening features a captivating performance by the Val Resia Folkloristic Group at 21:00, followed by a lottery drawing at 23:00, and a dazzling fireworks display at 24:00. 📅 SUNDAY, AUGUST 16 The kitchen opens at 18:00, and the festival wraps up with a musical evening featuring Cuatri francs at 20:00.
