The Sagra Paesana di Cameriano offers a rich program of events and gastronomic specialties. You can taste traditional dishes such as paniscia, donkey stew with polenta, and stewed snails, in addition to themed evenings. The program includes live music, tournaments, a running race, and concludes with the 41st Palio di S. Stefano and a fireworks display.
Indulge in authentic local flavors with a menu featuring traditional Italian comfort food. Savor creamy Gnocchi al Gorgonzola, the hearty rice dish Paniscia, and Polenta served with either mild or strong Gorgonzola cheese. Meat lovers can enjoy specialties like Roasted Lamb, Fidighine (a local delicacy), Lingua e Bagnetto (tongue with green sauce), and the rich Stufato d'Asino con Polenta (donkey stew with polenta). For a unique taste, try the Lumache in Umido (stewed snails) or a selection of local Salami.
The festival kicks off on Friday, September 4th, with the kitchen opening at 8 PM. On Saturday, September 5th, join the 'Mem. Mainardi' running race at 5:30 PM at Largo Atleti Italia, followed by dinner at 8 PM and a VINIL PARTY 70-80 90 with DJ LUCKY at OU'S HOUSE. Sunday, September 6th, offers dinner from 8 PM. Monday, September 7th, features a special 'DL'AGNA AROST' dinner (reservations required) from 8 PM, followed by a traditional TOMBOLA and a live tribute to Vasco, Ligabue, and Litfiba with MILLY E UNA NOTTE LIVE. Mid-week brings fun tournaments: Karaoke on Tuesday, September 8th, Foosball on Wednesday, September 9th, and Briscola (a card game) on Thursday, September 10th (bar and grill service only on these evenings). Friday, September 11th, is 'LA FESTA DEL CHEGA' with Gnocchi al Gorgonzola and kitchen open from 8 PM. The grand finale weekend starts Saturday, September 12th, with dinner at 8 PM, a DISCO LIVE PARTY with WM, a hip hop exhibition by SO BOUT IT (choreography by Romaniello P.), and a WOW BAND DISCO PARTY, concluding with a spectacular PIROFANTASY fireworks show. The festival wraps up on Sunday, September 13th, with the 41st PALIO DI S. STEFANO gathering at 3 PM, with grill and bar service available throughout the event.
