The 28th edition of the Sagra di Tavella di Fiume Veneto celebrates ostrich with food and wine stalls offering a rich variety of specialties. The program includes dance evenings with live orchestras, tribute concerts, a charity night, and activities for children. It's a fantastic opportunity to enjoy excellent local wines and have fun with friends and family.
Indulge in a wide array of delicious options, including traditional Italian pasta dishes like Gnocchi al ragù and Tris, alongside hearty main courses such as Gulasch with soft polenta, spit-roasted chicken, and meatballs. Don't miss the unique ostrich specialties, Bufalo burgers, and classic Italian favorites like Salsiccia and Stinco with french fries. Complement your meal with excellent local wines or a refreshing ZAHRE Beer. There are also kid-friendly plates and simple sides like beans with onions, cheese, and mushrooms.
Join us for a lively program of events! On Friday, September 4th, food stalls open at 7:00 PM, followed by a dance evening with the "RENZO BIONDI" orchestra at 9:00 PM. Saturday, September 5th, features food stalls opening at 6:30 PM and a concert with "MAX FOREVER" – a Max Pezzali & 883 Tribute – at 9:15 PM. Sunday, September 6th, also has food stalls opening at 6:30 PM, with a dance evening featuring the "SELENA VALLE" orchestra at 8:30 PM. On Tuesday, September 8th, for the Patron Saint's Day, there will be a Holy Rosary at 10:00 AM followed by Holy Mass. Thursday, September 10th, is a solidarity and support evening for the fight against Muscular Dystrophy, with a dinner by reservation (info 328.4176619) at 8:00 PM. Friday, September 11th, food stalls open at 7:00 PM, and "ABSOLUTE 5" will perform an absolutely live concert at 9:00 PM. Saturday, September 12th, food stalls open at 6:30 PM, followed by group dances with Maestro Daniele Parisi at 8:30 PM. Finally, on Sunday, September 13th, food stalls open at 6:30 PM, with a dance evening featuring the "STEFANO E I NEVADA" orchestra at 9:15 PM. On Saturdays and Sundays, enjoy face painting for kids by Amici in Festa. All dance events offer free admission, and there's ample parking available, plus a charity raffle!
