The 42nd edition of the Sagra di San Giacomo is a traditional festival packed with activities! Enjoy food stands offering local specialties like 'sardee', 'musetti', 'trippa & baccalà', and 'frittelle'. There will be musical evenings with various DJs, a blessing of San Giacomo, a medieval encampment featuring birds of prey and historical archery by Stirpe Rapace, alpaca entertainment, the San Giacomo Run, a Sunday brunch, and a spectacular fireworks display to close the event.
Indulge in a delightful array of traditional Italian treats, from morning coffee and cappuccinos with sweet brioche and 'frittelle' (fried dough pastries) to savory regional dishes. Savor unique local specialties like 'sardee' and 'musetti', hearty 'trippa & baccalà', and traditional 'Ombre' drinks.
The Sagra di San Giacomo kicks off on Thursday, July 23rd, with the food stand opening at 8:00 PM. On Friday, July 24th, enjoy an aperitivo with Roby Marton's Gin at 7:00 PM, followed by the food stand at 8:00 PM and music at the Kiosco with DJ OMNI! at 9:00 PM. Saturday, July 25th, starts with S. Messa di San Giacomo at 9:00 AM (featuring 'sardee', 'musetti', and 'ombre'), then explore the Castra Venatorum medieval hunters' encampment with birds of prey and historical archery by Stirpe Rapace at 7:00 PM. The food stand opens at 7:30 PM, and DJ Teo plays music at the Kiosco at 9:00 PM. Sunday, July 26th, features the San Giacomo Run at 9:00 AM, followed by a 'Brunch Pantierino' with brioche, sweets, coffee, cappuccino, 'trippa & baccalà' at 9:00 AM. Don't miss the parrot flight show with Flora and Aki and alpaca entertainment at 6:00 PM, and a special 'Frittelle' evening at the food stand at 7:30 PM. Monday, July 27th, the food stand opens at 8:00 PM, with music by Miki e Musika at 9:00 PM. Tuesday, July 28th, the food stand is open at 8:00 PM. The festival concludes on Wednesday, July 29th, with the food stand at 8:00 PM, music at the Kiosco with DJ Jarno at 9:00 PM, and a grand fireworks show at 11:00 PM.
