Experience the 63rd edition of the Sagra di San Francesco, running from September 18th to October 4th at the Oratorio dedicated to the saint. This vibrant festival offers a rich program of food and wine kiosks featuring local specialties like grilled Baccalà (codfish), spit-roasted Chicken, and traditional Frittelle di San Francesco (fritters), all paired with local wines and craft beer. The event also includes a memorial soccer tournament, live music performances, religious celebrations, and lively evening events for younger crowds with DJ sets. The Sagra di San Francesco kicks off on FRI, Sep 18 at 7:30 PM with the opening of food kiosks (featuring Mus, Stratagliata). SAT, Sep 19 at 7:00 PM sees more kiosks open (Pollo allo spiedo, Baccalà, grilled meats) followed by a 'Serata giovani' with a DJ Set. On SUN, Sep 20, kiosks open at 12:30 PM, with an afternoon youth event at 2:30 PM, and kiosks reopening at 7:00 PM. THU, Sep 24 at 8:30 PM, enjoy a musical narration about San Francesco by the Coro Parrocchiale in the Church. The festival continues with kiosk openings on FRI, Sep 25 at 7:30 PM and SAT, Sep 26 at 7:00 PM. SUN, Sep 27 features the Memorial Giancarlo Cossarini Soccer Tournament starting at 9:30 AM, with kiosk openings at 12:30 PM, tournament continuation at 3:00 PM, and awards at 4:30 PM. Kiosks reopen at 7:00 PM, followed by the 'Cesco!!! 800 anni di San Francesco' show by PAPU at 8:30 PM in the Church (free admission). The final weekend begins FRI, Oct 2 at 7:30 PM with kiosk openings and a penitential celebration at 8:30 PM. SAT, Oct 3 at 7:00 PM, kiosks open, and an Ecumenical prayer vigil takes place at 8:00 PM. On SUN, Oct 4 (Patron Saint's Day), attend the Solemn Mass and procession at 10:30 AM, followed by kiosk openings at 12:30 PM, a Charity Lottery at 2:00 PM, and the closing Mass and procession at 6:00 PM from Duomo to Piazza della Motta.
