The Sagra di S. Lorenzo in Novagli di Montichiari celebrates its patron saint with a vibrant program of events. Evenings feature food stands offering classic Italian street food like 'pane e salamina' (sausage sandwiches), hamburgers, and fries, all accompanied by live music from orchestras and DJ sets. A major highlight is the Palio degli Asini (Donkey Race), which offers free admission and open kitchens for all attendees.

Join us for a packed schedule of events! On SATURDAY, JULY 25th, at 6:30 PM, there's a Holy Mass followed by the Blessing of the Jockeys and Donkeys. Later, at 7:30 PM, enjoy the CIRCUIT TRIAL - 'ASINELLO D'ORO' & 'PIÙ VELOCE' COMPETITION with food stands open. On FRIDAY, JULY 31st, food stands open from 7:00 PM, with a Vasco Rossi tribute band, AMICIDALFREDO 2.0, performing at 9:45 PM. SATURDAY, AUGUST 1st, kitchens open from 7:00 PM, followed by the LARA AGOSTINI Orchestra at 9:30 PM. SUNDAY, AUGUST 2nd, Holy Masses are at 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. The main event, the PALIO DEGLI ASINI (Donkey Race), starts at 6:30 PM with free admission and kitchens open from 6:30 PM. The TIZIANO TONELLI Orchestra performs at 9:30 PM. On FRIDAY, AUGUST 7th, kitchens open from 7:00 PM, with RADIO STUDIO PIÙ playing 70s/80s/90s music with DJ PAROMIX and entertainment by UGO PALMISANO. SATURDAY, AUGUST 8th, kitchens open from 7:00 PM, and the FEDERICA COCCO Orchestra performs at 9:30 PM. Finally, on SUNDAY, AUGUST 9th, kitchens open from 7:00 PM, with the ROSSELLA FERRARI & I CASANOVA Orchestra performing at 9:30 PM. Inflatables will be available on August 1st, 2nd, 7th, 8th, and 9th. Please note: In case of rain, the Palio degli Asini will be postponed to Sunday, August 9th.
