The Sagra di Madonna di Strada kicks off on Friday, September 4th, at 8:00 PM with a torchlight procession gathering at various points in the different 'borghi' (villages): Casa del '300 (Borghi Riuniti), Ex Bar da Cristo (Borgo Sacco), Bar alla Fortuna (Borgo Sopracastello), and Campo Base (Borgo Pozzo). The procession arrives at Piazzale IV Novembre and the Santuario di Madonna di Strada at 8:30 PM, followed by a convivial gathering. Saturday, September 5th, is packed with activities starting at 3:00 PM with the opening of food kiosks and the beginning of 5+1 soccer tournaments between the 'Borghi'. A basketball tournament for boys and girls (birth years 2011-2014) starts at 4:00 PM, followed by a cycling gymkhana for kids at 5:00 PM. Enjoy music with DJ Devid from 5:00 PM. Kitchens open at 7:00 PM, alongside the start of the Briscola tournament and the finals for the soccer and basketball tournaments. A nighttime 4vs4 beach volleyball tournament between the 'Borghi' begins at 8:00 PM, and at 9:00 PM, don't miss the show "Un viaggio per l'Aldilà" by Vanni Rugo and Misiot. Sunday, September 6th, begins with a solemn Holy Mass at 10:30 AM at the Santuario di Madonna di Strada, with participation from all the 'Borghi'. At 1:30 PM, join in the 64th "Madonna di Strada" Trophy – traditional popular games. Vespers and a procession accompanied by the "Ex Alpini" di Coja di Tarcento Band take place at 6:30 PM. Kitchens open again at 7:00 PM. The awards ceremony and video presentation are at 9:15 PM, followed by the tombola drawing at 10:30 PM. The festival concludes with a spectacular fireworks display.
