The 11th edition of the Sagra dello Scalogno Piacentino celebrates one of the most versatile local products from the Piacenza area: the Piacenza shallot. This locally grown shallot is featured in a wide array of dishes, from appetizers and first courses to main dishes and side dishes. Food stands open every evening from 7:00 PM, offering delicious risottos, traditional tortelli, skewers, slow-cooked pork cheeks (guancialini), picula, torta fritta, local cured meats, and street food, all perfectly paired with fresh beer and cocktails. Starting at 9:00 PM, enjoy live music with evenings dedicated to traditional Italian ballroom dancing (liscio), exciting cover bands, and entertainment for everyone.
