Join us for a packed schedule of events! The festival officially opens on THURSDAY, JULY 2nd at 8:00 PM at MINTURNO CHIESA SAN FRANCESCO. On SATURDAY, JULY 4th, experience "Yesterday and Today... The Harvest" at 6:30 PM in MINTURNO VIA PECCENNONE CAMPO DI GRANO FAMIGLIA NUNZIO MALAGISI E NICOLA ROMANO. TUESDAY, JULY 7th is family-friendly with a children's workshop "Where Wheat Becomes Art" at 8:30 AM at CASTELLO BARONALE, followed by "Pizze Fritte" tastings at 10:00 AM, a cartoon screening at 11:30 AM, and tastings of "Pomodoro di Secca" at 5:30 PM and "Pascotta" at 6:00 PM, all at CASTELLO BARONALE. WEDNESDAY, JULY 8th brings International Folklore to SCAURI PIAZZA ROTELLI - LUNGOMARE at 9:00 PM. THURSDAY, JULY 9th and FRIDAY, JULY 10th feature religious preparations at CHIESA DI SAN FRANCESCO from 5:30 PM, with a book presentation on Jotham Johnson at 9:30 PM on THURSDAY and a theatrical performance by "LaScaletta" on FRIDAY at 9:30 PM, both at SCALINATA SCENOGRAFICA VIA XXIV MAGGIO. SATURDAY, JULY 11th continues with religious preparations at CHIESA DI SAN FRANCESCO from 5:30 PM, culminating in the 72nd International Folklore "I Suoni del Mondo" at MINTURNO PIAZZA PORTANOVA at 9:30 PM. SUNDAY, JULY 12th is a grand day with a Solemn Eucharistic Concelebration at CHIESA DI SAN FRANCESCO at 8:30 AM, a gift exchange with folk groups at 10:00 AM at Sala Consiliare "Severino Del Balzo," a Solemn Procession and blessing at 6:00 PM from Piazza ex pretura, a parade of Votive Floats and folk groups at 7:30 PM in MINTURNO PIAZZA PORTANOVA, and a re-enactment of Dragut's landing at 9:00 PM. The day concludes with traditional wheat threshing at 9:30 PM in MINTURNO-CENTRO STORICO and a spectacular fireworks display, "Incendio del Castello," at midnight in MINTURNO PIAZZA PORTANOVA.
