This festival, now in its 42nd year, marks the end of summer from September 11th to 14th. It's a one-of-a-kind event where master basket weavers and artisans are the stars, demonstrating ancient 19th-century techniques for working with local marsh herbs and wood. The entire village of Villanova di Bagnacavallo and the Ecomuseo delle Erbe Palustri come alive with workshops, exhibitions, markets, shows, talks, and, of course, delicious traditional gastronomy, offering wonderful moments of community and celebration.
