The 33rd edition of the Sagra Delle Castagne returns to Scandicci! This beloved chestnut festival features delicious roasted chestnuts (bruciate), castagnaccio (a traditional chestnut cake), ficattole (fried dough), and ribollita (a hearty Tuscan bread and vegetable soup). You'll also find fettunta (garlic bread) and vin novo (new wine). This year, there's an added market with unique crafts and upcycled treasures. The celebration takes place indoors, so it's perfect even if the weather isn't.
Indulge in classic Tuscan flavors like fettunta, a simple yet delicious garlic bread, and sip on vin novo, the fresh new wine of the season. Sweet treats include castagnaccio, a traditional chestnut cake, and ficattole, delightful fried dough.
