Experience the 53rd edition of the Sagra delle Castagne in the charming medieval village of Orciatico. The day kicks off with a unique '6-legged walk' (a walk with your dog!), followed by a delightful progressive lunch featuring authentic Tuscan specialties like hearty soups, wild boar, and polenta. You'll also have the option for an indoor dinner. The afternoon continues with roasted chestnuts, local wine, live music, and entertainment for children, ensuring a magical autumn day for all.
Indulge in a variety of Tuscan delights, from savory dishes like traditional Tuscan soup and wild boar, to delicious street food options such as gourmet stuffed sandwiches and fried polenta. Don't miss the sweet treats, including Bomboloni, Migliacci, and the unique chestnut fritters. Of course, plenty of roasted chestnuts (Caldarroste) will be available, perfectly paired with local wine, sweet wine, and other beverages.
Join us on October 18, 2026, for a full day of festivities! The morning begins at 8:30 AM with a gathering in Piazzetta S.Antonio for the '6-legged walk' through the Orciatico countryside. From 12:30 PM, enjoy a progressive lunch through the village streets. Indoor lunch and dinner options are also available in three shifts: 12:00 PM-1:30 PM, 1:30 PM-3:00 PM, and dinner from 8:00 PM onwards. The afternoon, starting at 3:00 PM, is dedicated to enjoying autumn flavors with wine, chestnuts, and live music, featuring a puppet show with SILVIA DIOMEL, children's entertainment by PALLINA ANIMATION, and a magician. Live entertainment with RADIO BRUNO will keep the energy high, followed by an aperitivo. The evening concludes at 9:00 PM with animation and dancing with FRANCESCO CINELLI from RADIO BRUNO.
