The 39th edition of the Sagra delle Castagne e delle Zeppole Spignesi brings Piazza San Giovanni in Spigno Saturnia Superiore to life. Enjoy three days of festivities with food stands offering delicious chestnuts, zeppole, sandwiches, and arrosticini. The program includes live musical entertainment, dance performances, and traditional folk music, guaranteeing fun for everyone.
Indulge in a variety of delicious street food, including savory arrosticini (grilled meat skewers), roasted chestnuts, classic Italian sandwiches, and the famous Zeppole Spignesi – sweet, fried dough pastries that are a local specialty.
Join us for three days of fun! On FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9th, stands open at 6:00 PM, followed by musical entertainment at 9:00 PM with BUCALONE ONE MAN SHOW. The event closes at midnight. SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10th, also starts with stands opening at 6:00 PM. At 7:30 PM, enjoy entertainment from the "SOUL AND DANCE" Dance School, then at 9:00 PM, catch LIVE MUSIC with the "EXAEQUO" Band and KAROL COCOMELLO, playing Pop-Funky-Disco hits, both Italian and international. Festivities conclude at midnight. On SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11th, stands open at 5:00 PM, with musical performances and Live Organetto featuring JvaMusic and Moreno Notarberardino starting at 9:00 PM. The event closes at midnight. Please note: In case of bad weather, the event will be moved to the following weekend.
