On Sunday, October 25th, Meleto Valdarno, a charming hamlet in Cavriglia (AR), invites you to the Sagra delle Castagne. Starting at 3:30 PM at the Circolo Sociale Meleto, you can savor delicious seasonal specialties. Food stands will offer traditional fried ciacce, fried polenta, porchetta, bomboloni (Italian doughnuts), vin brulé (mulled wine), and of course, roasted chestnuts (caldarroste) and castagnaccio (chestnut cake).
