The 45th Sagra dell'Acquacotta returns to Santa Fiora from August 8th to 17th, nestled in the heart of Monte Amiata. This festival is a celebration of good food, community, and traditions passed down through generations, with the star of the show being Acquacotta, alongside many other Tuscan culinary specialties. The food stands are open every evening and for lunch, with special nights dedicated to Florentine steak, snails, tripe stew, and even a presentation of the local football team.
Indulge in authentic Tuscan flavors at the Sagra dell'Acquacotta. Savor the traditional Acquacotta, a hearty local soup, alongside other regional delights. Highlights include succulent Bistecca alla Fiorentina (Florentine steak), savory Lumache (snails prepared in a local style), and the rich, comforting Trippata (a traditional tripe stew). These dishes offer a true taste of Tuscan culinary heritage.
Join us for the Sagra dell'Acquacotta from August 8th to 17th! The food stands will be open every evening and for lunch throughout the festival. On August 9th, participate in a charity dinner benefiting the Fondazione Meyer, with 2€ from each meal donated to a good cause. Don't miss the special Bistecca alla Fiorentina (Florentine Steak) evening on August 11th, followed by a dedicated Lumache (snails) night on August 13th.
