The 18th Sagra della Zucca in Meugliano celebrates the rich flavors of autumn and traditional Piedmontese cuisine. For three days, this charming village comes alive with food stalls offering a delicious pumpkin-themed menu, from savory tortelli and risottos to artisanal pumpkin desserts. The festival also features craft markets, impressive giant pumpkin displays, guided nature walks, and live musical entertainment.
Indulge in a variety of pumpkin-infused dishes, including handmade pumpkin ravioli, creamy pumpkin risottos, and savory pumpkin quiches. Don't miss the traditional Bagna Cauda, local Toma cheese, and hearty main courses like Braciole alla losa (pork chops cooked on stone) and sausage in white wine. Sweet treats include artisanal pumpkin desserts, fritters, and traditional Miasse (crispy cornmeal wafers) served with local products.
