The 13th edition of the Sagra della Zucca in Castelletto Monferrato invites you to a delightful culinary experience! Enjoy food stands offering a variety of pumpkin-based appetizers, main courses, and desserts, alongside other local specialties. Evenings will come alive with live music from DJs and bands, creating a festive atmosphere in Piazza Astori. From August 28th to 30th, guests can savor traditional dishes and enjoy lively musical performances.
Indulge in a unique menu centered around pumpkin, featuring delicious pumpkin appetizers, rich pumpkin lasagna, and sweet pumpkin cake. Beyond the gourd, you'll find other regional delights like traditional Monferrato appetizers, savory agnolotti with country-style sauce, the Marquis's braised beef (Brasato del marchese), and crispy fried pumpkin (Zucca fritta). Don't miss the local dessert, Bunet, and classic french fries.
Join us for three days of fun! On August 28th, kick off the festival with an opening night featuring DJ Matteo Sasso playing 'GENERAZIONE 90' at 10:00 PM. On August 29th, enjoy a concert by Daniele & Lia Tarantino starting at 9:30 PM. The grand finale on August 30th will feature the Explosion Band in concert at 9:30 PM. Food stands will be open daily from August 28th to 30th, offering pumpkin-based dishes and local specialties, with music filling Piazza Astori from sunset.
