Get ready for the 19th edition of the Sagra della Ranocchiocciola in Baccaiano, Montespertoli (FI)! This historic festival, originally established in 1975, is making a grand return after a hiatus. Organized by the Circolo ARCI "La Pinetina", it promises a delightful experience with unique culinary specialties and lively musical entertainment.
Indulge in the festival's signature dishes, featuring crispy fried frogs and savory stewed snails, offering a taste of authentic local Tuscan cuisine. For those seeking more familiar options, the menu also includes grilled pork loin and 'pollo al mattone' (brick-pressed chicken), all prepared with traditional flair.
The festival kicks off with evening festivities! Join us on Friday, September 11th and Saturday, September 12th at 9:30 PM for live music and DJ sets. On Sunday, September 13th, the food stands open for both lunch and dinner, with a maxi screen showing special events. The fun continues the following weekend: Friday, September 18th and Saturday, September 19th at 9:30 PM for more musical entertainment. Sunday, September 20th again features food stands open for lunch and dinner, plus the maxi screen. Food stands are open every evening from 8:00 PM.
