Get ready for the 19th edition of the Sagra della Ranocchiocciola in Baccaiano, Montespertoli (FI)! This historic festival, originally established in 1975, is making a grand return after a hiatus. Organized by the Circolo ARCI "La Pinetina," it promises a delightful experience with unique culinary specialties and lively musical entertainment.
Indulge in the festival's signature dishes, featuring local delicacies like crispy fried frogs (ranocchi fritti) and savory stewed snails (chiocciole in umido). For those who prefer more traditional fare, the menu also includes grilled pork loin (lombatine alla griglia) and brick-cooked chicken (pollo al mattone), offering a taste of authentic Tuscan flavors.
Join us for an evening of fun! Musical entertainment and DJ sets kick off at 9:30 PM on Friday, September 11th, Saturday, September 12th, Friday, September 18th, and Saturday, September 19th. On Sunday, September 13th and Sunday, September 20th, the food stands will be open for both lunch and dinner, with a big screen showing events. Food stands are open every evening from 8:00 PM.
