The community of Santa Maria in Selva is excited to host a new edition of the Sagra della Polenta! This lively festival offers delicious food stands featuring grilled specialties, traditional polenta dishes, and crispy polenta fritters. Beyond the fantastic food, visitors can enjoy plenty of live music and entertainment throughout the event.
Indulge in a variety of authentic Italian flavors, with a special focus on polenta – a versatile cornmeal dish. Savor hearty main courses like grilled meats, enjoy classic polenta preparations, and try unique street food options such as delightful polenta fritters.
The festival offers a diverse program of events. On September 17th at 9:00 PM, join the Burraco Tournament, followed by the Briscola Tournament on September 18th at 9:15 PM. September 19th starts with Holy Mass at 9:30 AM, and from 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM, you can enjoy the Polenta Distribution. On September 20th at 9:00 AM, don't miss the XX Vesparaduno. September 25th features a black and white photo exhibition titled "Dove le anime si incontrano," with more Polenta Distribution from 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM, and DJ Loca Mogetti performing at 9:30 PM. The festival concludes on September 26th with Polenta Distribution from 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM, and live music from Orchestra Federico Olivotto at 9:30 PM.
