The charming medieval village of Altidona sets the stage for the 52nd edition of the Sagra della Polenta con le Lumache o ai Frutti di Mare, an event that honors traditional flavors and time-honored recipes. The festival also features a variety of artistic performances and cabaret shows.
Indulge in a delightful array of traditional Italian dishes, with a special focus on polenta served in various ways: with snails (lumache), with fresh seafood (frutti di mare), or simply with olive oil and Parmesan cheese. Other highlights include seafood pasta (Mezzo Pacchero Rigato all'uovo con Frutti di Mare), a plate of snails (Piatto di Lumache), and a mixed grill (Arrosto misto) featuring pork chop and sausage. You'll also find classic Italian street food like pork chop or sausage sandwiches, and crispy french fries.
