Get ready for a delicious weekend! On Saturday, August 1st, and Sunday, August 2nd, 2026, Vico nel Lazio (FR) hosts the 3rd Edition of the Ciociaro Event, Sagra della Pizza Fritta. Piazza XXIV Maggio will be the heart of the festival, offering a mouth-watering array of delights. Both evenings, starting at 6:30 PM, you can savor freshly fried pizzas with vegetables or mortadella, along with supplì, french fries, and chicken nuggets, all perfectly paired with beer and other beverages. Expect lively dance music to keep the atmosphere festive throughout the evenings.
Indulge in a variety of fried delights, including savory fried pizzas with your choice of vegetables or mortadella, classic supplì, crispy french fries, and chicken nuggets. Don't miss the 'tartalicchi,' traditional sweet potato fritters unique to Ciociara's rustic cuisine. On Sunday only, you can also enjoy fried cod fillets with french fries and a mixed vegetable fry featuring delicate zucchini flowers. A selection of beers and other beverages will be available to complement your meal.
