The 53rd Sagra della Lumaca brings three days of festivities to Barbarano Romano. This event offers a rich program of entertainment, including tournaments, traditional games, live music performances, and magic shows. Food stands will feature delicious snails and other local specialties, with takeout options available.
Indulge in authentic local flavors with freshly made pasta, including gnocchi, and a variety of traditional snail dishes, a true regional delicacy.
Join us for three days of fun! On SEPTEMBER 4th, enjoy a Burraco tournament at 3:00 PM, traditional games for kids in Piazza A. Diaz at 4:00 PM, and a performance by the Banda Comunale "F. Taranta" through the streets at 6:00 PM. Food stands open at 8:00 PM, followed by "2000 forever - la festa che ti porta negli anni 2000!" at 10:00 PM and a DJ set with Maurice Flee at midnight. SEPTEMBER 5th kicks off with takeout snail sales at 12:00 PM. At 4:00 PM, there's a briscola and tresette tournament and a slingshot competition under the walls. "Ricky il mago" performs magic at 6:00 PM. Food stands open again at 8:00 PM, with "Come Max" - Tribute band 883 e Max Pezzali at 10:00 PM, and a DJ Set with Jonny Black at midnight. On SEPTEMBER 6th, kids' games and a drawing contest are in Piazza A. Diaz at 10:30 AM. Takeout snails are available from 12:00 PM. Another slingshot competition is at 4:00 PM, and a fresh pasta workshop for children with Cristina (specializing in gnocchi) takes place at 5:30 PM.
