Get ready for the 30th annual Sagra della Focaccia, returning to Cerreto di Baschi! This beloved summer event, started in 1992 by the "Il Club degli Amici" Cultural Recreational Association, draws visitors from all over Umbria and neighboring regions. The star of the show is, of course, the focaccia, baked fresh in a traditional wood-fired oven and filled on the spot with an incredible array of specialties. Beyond the focaccia, you'll find classic Italian street food like supplì and french fries, along with various desserts and refreshing watermelon. Every evening from 8:00 PM, the charming village of Cerreto di Baschi comes alive with food stands, live music, and entertainment, creating a festive atmosphere of conviviality and tradition.
Indulge in freshly baked focaccia with a wide variety of fillings, from savory options like prosciutto crudo, salsiccia, porchetta, and speck with mozzarella and arugula, to unique combinations like porchetta with caramelized onions. You'll also find classic Italian flavors such as mortadella and stracciatella, spicy salami, and caprese. For a sweet treat, don't miss the Nutella focaccia!
