The 50th edition of the Sagra della Cucina Piemontese returns to Volpiano for five days of gastronomic celebrations, live music, and entertainment. Taste authentic Piedmontese specialties like fagioli e cotiche (beans and pork rinds), fritto misto (mixed fried delights), agnolotti (stuffed pasta), and bolliti misti (mixed boiled meats). Enjoy a festive atmosphere, guaranteed rain or shine thanks to the covered pavilion. Dance the night away with local bands every evening!
Indulge in a wide array of traditional Piedmontese appetizers, followed by hearty first courses like agnolotti pasta and polenta with sausage and stew. For main courses, savor the rich flavors of bolliti misti, the rustic fagioli e cotiche, or the crispy fritto misto. Quench your thirst at the cocktail bar and grab a delicious pizza from the street food stand, available every evening.
Join the festivities starting Thursday, September 24th, at 8:00 PM with the Filarmonica Volpianese, followed by the investiture of the priori and a dance party with Tikozzi at 8:30 PM. On Friday, September 25th, dinner begins at 7:30 PM featuring fagioli e cotiche, fritto misto, agnolotti, and appetizers, with dancing to ShaRY AND at 10:00 PM. Saturday, September 26th, offers dinner at 7:30 PM with polenta, sausage, stew, agnolotti, and appetizers, followed by a dance party with Divind at 10:00 PM. Sunday, September 27th, starts with a parade through Volpiano at 10:45 AM, a Holy Mass at 11:30 AM, and an aperitivo at 12:15 PM. Dinner at 7:30 PM features bolliti misti, agnolotti, and appetizers, with dancing to ORNELLA'S GROUP at 9:00 PM. The event concludes on Tuesday, September 29th, with a Holy Rosary at the cappella di San Michele at 9:00 PM. Admission is free, and all meals and dances will be held in the covered pavilion in case of bad weather. Pizza is available every night!
