This festival highlights two iconic Roman and Sardinian dishes: Coda alla Vaccinara (oxtail stew) and Porceddu Sardo (roasted suckling pig), with the latter being a special Saturday night treat. The event also marks the 60th anniversary of the Proloco di Blera, featuring a concert by Ruben with Alberto Rocchetti and food stands showcasing Amaretto d'Oro and Slow Food Viterbo.
Indulge in a wide array of traditional Italian flavors! Start with classic Bruschetta, then dive into hearty pasta dishes like Fettuccine al sugo di pecora, Fettuccine alla boscaiola, or the rich Fettuccine alla coda alla vaccinara. For main courses, savor the tender Coda alla vaccinara, grilled Arrosticini di pecora, or various local sausages. Don't miss the star of the show, Porceddu sardo alla brace, available exclusively on Saturday evening. Complement your meal with side dishes like Fagioli con le cotiche or fresh Insalata verde, and finish with sweet Pizzarella or Dolcetti secchi.
