The 40th Sagra della Castagna takes place from October 3rd to 5th in the heart of Salza Irpina. Chestnuts are the star ingredient in typical dishes like fusilli with porcini mushrooms and sausage, and a hearty chestnut and bean soup, all perfectly paired with local wine. Live folk music fills the evenings, creating a warm and traditional atmosphere.
