The Sagra della Castagna e dei Prodotti Tipici returns to Cave for its 92nd edition, making it one of the longest-running autumn events in the Prenestini Hills area. For three days, the charming village comes alive with roasted chestnuts, traditional cuisine, local wineries, food stalls, craft markets, live music, and entertainment. The stars of the show are the chestnuts harvested from Cave's own forests, alongside walnuts, hazelnuts, and other local culinary specialties. Be sure to discover iconic dishes like “gnocchetti a sassetto” and the traditional “serpetta,” a typical sweet from Cave known for its distinctive S-shape.
