The eighth edition of the Sagra della Bistecca takes place each evening on the panoramic terrace of the former canonry in Rocca, Montemurlo. Volunteers from the Il Borgo della Rocca ODV association will serve the famed Bistecca di Rocca, wild boar tortelli and other local Tuscan specialties in a relaxed, open‑air setting.
Guests can indulge in hearty Tuscan dishes such as duck‑infused maccheroni, shepherd’s‑style maccheroni, mushroom‑topped polenta, and rustic wild boar tortelli. The main courses showcase the star of the event, the Bistecca di Rocca, alongside slow‑cooked lamb, the peppery Peposo di Rocca served with polenta, and flavorful celery meatballs. For a street‑food twist, try the “Gran fritto dell'aia,” a crispy mix of chicken, rabbit and seasonal vegetables.
