Join the 45th edition of the Sagra del Tortellino Tradizionale in Castelfranco Emilia as it celebrates its most iconic dish: the traditional tortellino. These delightful pasta parcels are hand-rolled and filled with local DOP and IGP certified products. Beyond the delicious food, the festival offers a vibrant program of dance performances, jazz concerts, musical tributes, sports events, and a grand historical parade, ensuring a festive atmosphere for the whole family.
Indulge in the star of the festival: the traditional tortellino. These exquisite pasta rings are served in a rich broth, featuring a delicate pasta sheet and a savory filling made with premium local ingredients like pork loin, Prosciutto di Modena, Mortadella di Bologna, Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, eggs, and a hint of nutmeg.
The festival is packed with events! On September 4th, enjoy an 'Only Swing Dance' performance by a local dance school. September 5th marks the 'Picchio Rosso – 50° Anniversario' celebration. On September 8th, experience the 'Real Oasis Experience' with Oasis IT. September 9th features the '50° Anniversario Pattinaggio – Memorial Paolo Aldrovandi'. A tribute to Lucio Dalla with Lalo Cibellie Band takes place on September 10th. September 11th offers two events: '4Jazz in concerto (Crooners & Classics)' and 'Maestre Sfogline – La Sanicola'. Finally, on September 12th, don't miss the 'Killer Queen + Coro Polifonico – Live Tribute Show', and on September 13th, witness the spectacular 'Grande Corteo Storico' starting at 3:30 PM.
