The 16th edition of the Sagra del Tajarin cun l'Oca celebrates the rich culinary traditions of Monferrato, featuring the famous tajarin pasta with rich goose ragù and other Piedmontese specialties. Every evening from 7:00 PM, enjoy the food stands with typical dishes, live music, bocce tournaments, and a charming night train ride. On the weekend, don't miss the vintage car rally with over 60 historic vehicles, wine tastings at local cellars, a fun gimkana for kids, and a scenic panoramic tour through the rolling hills.
Indulge in a delightful array of Piedmontese flavors, from sweet treats like Panna Cotta, stuffed peaches (Pesche ripiene), and the local Murisengo hazelnut cake (Torta di nocciole di Murisengo), to savory starters like Friciula with a selection of cured meats. The star of the show is the Tajarin with goose ragù, alongside other hearty main courses such as Piedmontese Fassona beef tartare (Battuta di fassona piemontese), mixed fried fish (Fritto di pesce), grilled ribs (Grigliata mista con costine), Porchetta, Rustichella, goose salami with mashed potatoes (Salame d'oca con purè), and Tomino cheese.
