This festival in Rosa, San Vito al Tagliamento (UD), celebrates Pan Zal, a unique homemade pumpkin gnocchi specialty. The event features a packed schedule with live concerts, orchestras, DJ sets, and dance nights, plus a special fish menu. Enjoy the festivities in a comfortable, covered, heated, and paved venue, complete with wine bars and specialized food stalls.
Indulge in a variety of local delights, from the signature Pan Zal pumpkin gnocchi and other pumpkin-infused dishes like pumpkin tart and pumpkin and speck tagliatelle, to hearty traditional options such as Brovada e muset and Salame all'aceto. Meat lovers can savor spit-roasted duck, spit-roasted chicken, and pork slices, while seafood enthusiasts will enjoy the mixed grilled fish and Spaghetti alla scogliera.
The Sagra del Pan Zal offers a fantastic lineup of events! Each Thursday and Friday, starting at 7:15 PM, enjoy a special Fish Menu. Thursday, October 15th, at 9:00 PM, features a Briscola Card Tournament and Group Dances with Maestra Miranda Zuin. Friday, October 16th, at 9:30 PM, get ready for the EL TAXI PARTY with a DJ Set. Saturday, October 17th, from 7:15 PM, brings a 90s-2000s FOREVER disco night with DJs Lino Lodi, Massimo Rossini, Gerry Parades, Vox, Igor Pezzi, and special Mario Bros animation. Sunday, October 18th, stalls open at 11:00 AM, with kitchen service from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by musical entertainment with DJ Ivan Medini at 12:30 PM and an aperitivo at 6:00 PM, concluding with an evening dance with Orchestra Stefania Marchesi at 9:00 PM. The second week kicks off on Thursday, October 22nd, at 9:00 PM, with a Vasco Rossi tribute concert by Diapason Band. Friday, October 23rd, at 9:30 PM, catch Absolute 5 – Absolutely Live. Saturday, October 24th, at 9:30 PM, enjoy a dance night with Gimmy & I Ricordi celebrating 50 years of music. The festival concludes on Sunday, October 25th, with stalls opening at 11:00 AM, kitchen service from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM, musical entertainment with DJ Ivan Medini at 12:30 PM and an aperitivo at 6:00 PM, and a grand finale with the Caramel Party Band playing Disco Latin Rock at 9:30 PM. The event boasts 2000 sq meters of covered, paved, and heated space, ceramic dish service, a national wine bar, a special beer stand, and a charity gastronomic fishing game.
