Get ready for the 26th Sagra del Maccherone at Parco Dainelli in Buti! This festival celebrates the local specialty: fresh maccheroni pasta served with a rich 'ragù alla castellana' sauce. You'll also find other pasta dishes, delicious grilled meats, and a selection of fine wines. Organized by the Contrada San Rocco del Palio, this event offers three evenings of medieval-themed fun under the stars, complete with live music, traditional white and red flags, and a vibrant, authentic atmosphere. On Saturday, a convenient shuttle service will be available from the cemetery parking lot. Admission is free!
Indulge in the star of the show: incredibly fresh maccheroni pasta with the rich, local 'ragù alla castellana' sauce. Other pasta options include penne with tomato sauce or 'alla boscaiola'. For meat lovers, there's delicious grilled meat, and you can also enjoy traditional cold cuts ('taglieri'). Don't forget to pair your meal with selected wines and finish with a delightful dessert.
