The 22nd Sagra del Gnocco and Festa dell'Assunta brings Brancafora to life with a rich program of events. The culinary highlight is undoubtedly the gnocco, a beloved Italian dumpling, served alongside live music, theatrical performances, and entertainment for children. It's a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the Festa dell'Assunta with choral concerts and traditional processions.
Indulge in the star of the festival, freshly made gnocchi, prepared with traditional recipes. This is your chance to savor authentic Italian comfort food, perfect for a festive atmosphere.
The festival kicks off on AUGUST 9th with a theatrical performance: 'MARCA' by TEATRO DEI PAZZI at 9:00 PM (entry 10 euros). On AUGUST 13th, enjoy an aperitivo with 'Aperiseason' (HOUSE-TECH HOUSE-DEEP HOUSE) at 6:00 PM, followed by the opening of the food stands at 7:00 PM. Later, at 8:30 PM, experience a choral concert in the Santa Maria Assunta Parish Church featuring the FONTANELLE and STELLA ALPINA choirs from Lavarone. The evening continues with DJ PANICO & VIPERA. AUGUST 14th offers food stands opening at 12:00 PM, an aperitivo with DJ / Music at 6:00 PM, and food stands reopening at 7:00 PM. At 9:00 PM, enjoy live music with TRAILS ROCK BAND, followed by DJ PANICO. On AUGUST 15th, the main celebration begins at 10:30 AM, followed by Holy Mass at 10:45 AM. Food stands open at 12:00 PM. At 4:30 PM, there's a special show for kids (and adults!) with 'I GIULLASTRI'. A traditional procession with the statue of the Madonna, carried by the Alpini and the Campanó, takes place at 6:45 PM. Food stands reopen at 7:00 PM, and the evening concludes with music from the 360 band at 9:00 PM, followed by DJ PIGIAMASCACHI. Throughout the entire festival, there will be inflatable games for the little ones!
