The 44th Sagra del Fagiolo IGP celebrates Sarconi's most important agricultural product, which has held the prestigious I.G.P. (Protected Geographical Indication) status since 1996. This two-day festival features a delicious food trail, live entertainment, concerts, a special show cooking event with Valeria Raciti (winner of MasterChef 8), and DJ sets. It's a 100% plastic-free event, offering a wide array of food and wine specialties, all centered around beans, served in various squares throughout the historic town center.
Prepare your taste buds for an incredible culinary journey! The festival menu showcases the versatility of the Sarconi I.G.P. bean in both savory and sweet dishes. Indulge in unique desserts like Bombolone with bean chantilly cream and even bean ice cream. For main courses, savor traditional pasta dishes such as Cavatelli e fagioli, or try the refreshing Insalatina di baccalà with beans and olives. Explore creative combinations like Scialatielli with clams and beans on a rocket pesto, or hearty soups like Zuppa di fagioli with peperoni crusch. Meat lovers will enjoy Lucanian pork with beans or roasted cheese with a creamy bean sauce. On AUGUST 18, 2025, catch the event testimonial Eleonora PEDRON in Piazza Municipio, followed by a live concert from TERRAROSS and a DJ-set by VUELA in Piazza Aldo Moro. The excitement continues on AUGUST 19, 2025, with a special Show Cooking session by VALERIA RACITI (MasterChef 8 Winner) in Piazza Municipio. Later, enjoy a concert by ROY PACI & ABETUSKA and dance the night away at the Closing Party "IBIZA LIVE TIME Official Party," both in Piazza Aldo Moro. Throughout both days, follow the gastronomic trail to sample I.G.P. bean specialties at various locations including Elisir Pasticceria, Gelateria Alibaba, Hotel Vecchio Ponte, L'Eco del Fiume, Moliendo Cafè, Ristorante Narciso, Likos Hotel, Ristorante Senso Unico, La Fattoria del Caciocavallo, ROSTICCeria Da Piero e Laura, BISTROT Piano, and Cibo Vagabondo.
