The Sagra del Cinghiale di Dugenta is an authentic experience celebrating one of Campania's most deeply rooted gastronomic traditions. Now in its 43rd edition, this festival offers delicious wild boar dishes prepared according to traditional recipes, lively folk music, and the warm hospitality typical of Campania's local festivals. It takes place over two distinct periods, giving everyone a chance to savor these unique specialties.
Indulge in a variety of wild boar specialties, from rich pasta dishes like Gnocchi, Pappardelle, and Ravioli with wild boar ragù, to hearty Strozzapreti served with wild boar stew, sometimes enhanced with porcini mushrooms and olives. You can also enjoy a mixed grill of wild boar, a platter of cured wild boar meats and local cheeses, or a traditional Fagiolata with pork rind and sausage. Prices for individual dishes are around €6, while larger platters range from €20 to €100.
The Sagra del Cinghiale di Dugenta runs in two periods: The first period is from May 29 to July 12, 2026. The second period is from August 21 to November 1, 2026. Food stands are open on Fridays and Saturdays from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. On Sundays, stands are open for lunch from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM and for dinner from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
