Get ready for the 50th edition of the Sagra del Cacciucco in Foiano della Chiana! This beloved festival celebrates the traditional Cacciucco fish stew, alongside other Tuscan delights like pici all'aglione (garlic pasta), costoliccio (pork ribs), baked prawns, and fried fish. Every evening brings live shows, dancing, a funfair for kids, a book corner, a youth area, and sports tournaments. The festival is open daily, except for Mondays and Tuesdays.
Indulge in a variety of Tuscan culinary treasures, from classic pizza and hearty pici pasta with ragù or garlic sauce, to the star of the show: Cacciucco, a rich seafood stew. Other main courses include succulent costoliccio (pork ribs), crispy fried fish, and delicious baked prawns.
The festival kicks off on June 27th at 9:30 PM on the Main Stage with the "Restart Festival" pre-opening party. On July 1st, enjoy a dance performance by "DAM DANZA" students at 9:30 PM on the Main Stage, while the Youth Area features 'Old-Fashioned Games' (including bumper cars). July 2nd and 3rd bring traditional 'Ballo Liscio' dancing with orchestras "RENZA GLAMOUR" and "I MATTEO" respectively, both at 9:30 PM on the Main Stage. The Youth Area continues with 'Old-Fashioned Games,' and the Kids' Area offers a spring workshop on July 2nd and a magic show with Mago Merletto on July 3rd. July 4th and 5th also feature 'Ballo Liscio' with orchestras "TONY GULLO" and "BULLI & PUPE" at 9:30 PM on the Main Stage, with face painting by Myriam on July 4th and more 'Old-Fashioned Games' for kids on July 5th. On July 8th, groove to a 70s/80s/90s DISCO MUSIC tribute with "SHARY BAND IN CONCERTO" at 9:30 PM on the Main Stage. July 9th and 10th continue with 'Ballo Liscio' featuring "DANIELE DESIDERI" and "ROSSELLA FERRARI E I CASANOVA" at 9:30 PM on the Main Stage, alongside summer workshops and face painting for kids. July 11th brings 'Ballo Liscio' with "SELENE VALLE" at 9:30 PM, a darts tournament in the Youth Area, and another magic evening with Mago Merletto. The grand finale on July 12th features 'Ballo Liscio' with "WILLY COTTINI" at 9:30 PM, 'Old-Fashioned Games' in the Youth Area, and a DISCO PARADISE party for kids.
