For ten days the small town of Barco di Pravisdomini turns into a lively seaside celebration, featuring live music, dancing and a feast built around the beloved salted cod. Every evening you can savor cod, hearty tripe dishes and grilled specialties, all paired with excellent local wines. The schedule includes orchestra‑led dance nights, a Vespa rally and even a choral performance, making it a perfect blend of food, fun and authentic Italian tradition.
Indulge in fresh, perfectly cooked baccalà served with traditional sauces, succulent grilled meats and the region’s signature slow‑braised tripe. Complement your meal with a selection of local wines that highlight the flavors of Friuli‑Venezia Giulia, creating a truly memorable culinary experience.
August 28 – stalls open at 7 PM, followed by a free‑entry dance with the orchestra Lara Agostini at 9 PM. August 29 – same schedule with orchestra Manuel Martini. August 30 – same schedule with the Lady D Band, plus the 12th Vespa Club Barco rally. September 3 – 9 PM choral evening with the Coro Speranza (free entry). September 4 – stalls open at 7 PM and a free dance with orchestra Selena Valle, featuring a performance by the Ballo Onda dance school. September 5 – stalls open at 7 PM and dance with orchestra Luca Roncari. September 6 – 4:30 PM procession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, followed by stalls at 7 PM and a free dance with orchestra Fabio Corazza at 9 PM. Throughout the festival a generous array of food stalls will serve grilled delights, baccalà and tripe, accompanied by local wines, and a charitable seafood auction will take place.
