For over 40 years, the Sagra dei Ossi de Mascio has celebrated one of the most authentic specialties of Vicenza's rural tradition: slow-cooked pork neck bones, served with the characteristic horseradish sauce (cren) handmade by volunteers. Alongside this famous signature dish, the food stand offers numerous Venetian culinary specialties, accompanied by local wines. The event is enriched with live music, a wine bar, a funfair, a charity raffle, and the unmissable Fritole de Longare, all in a festive atmosphere that annually attracts visitors from across the province and beyond.
Indulge in the festival's signature dish, Ossi di Maschio (slow-cooked pork neck bones), alongside a variety of other traditional Veneto specialties. You'll also find convenient street food options like panini and a selection of refreshing beers and local wines.
The festivities kick off on September 4th with "Aspettando la Sagra" – a special Youth Area offering panini and beer (the full food stand will not be open yet). The main Sagra dei Ossi di Maschio runs from September 5th to 9th, featuring a funfair (Luna Park) and a charity raffle (Pesca di beneficenza) throughout the event.
