Sagra dei Maroni Festival

Celebrate the 50th edition of the Sagra dei Maroni, a traditional chestnut festival in Teolo. Enjoy delicious food stands, all under cover, featuring classic Paduan specialties. The festival runs from noon until evening, and all proceeds go towards the restoration of the Teolo church.

Indulge in traditional Paduan cuisine with specialties like pasta all'amatriciana, a hearty pasta and bean soup (pasta e fasoi), and grilled meats including chicken, pancetta, and sausage, all served with polenta. Don't miss the local 'Schisotto' and a selection of good wine.

Join us for a series of events around the festival: On September 12, 2026, at 5:30 PM, attend the inauguration of the Dino Formaggio Museum of Contemporary Art (free entry, open Saturdays and Sundays 10 AM-12 PM and 4 PM-7 PM, until November 22). Explore the Euganean Hills with guided walks: 'Teolo arte natura verso Passo Fiorine' on October 18, 2026, at 9:30 AM, and 'L'antica maronaia di Teolo' on October 18 and 25, 2026, at 2:00 PM. There's also a 'Camminata tra gli olivi' on October 25, 2026, at 9:30 AM. The main Sagra dei Maroni food stands will be open on October 18 and 25, 2026, from 12:00 PM until evening, serving traditional Paduan specialties, with proceeds supporting the church restoration.
