Celebrate the 42nd anniversary of this beloved Sagra in Salza Irpina with one of Irpinia's most cherished traditional dishes: spaghetti with porcini mushrooms. From August 21st to 23rd, enjoy a rich menu featuring mushrooms in every form imaginable, from savory cutlets and omelets to potatoes with mushrooms. The feast is rounded out with local favorites like fried pizzillo, various sandwiches, and the famous provolone impicciato.
Indulge in a delightful array of mushroom-based dishes, including creamy mushroom omelets and hearty potatoes with mushrooms. The star of the show is the spaghetti ai funghi porcini, alongside a classic spaghetti al pomodoro. Don't miss the unique provolone impicciato, a local specialty, and satisfying scaloppine ai funghi. For quick bites, there are various panini and the crispy, fried pizzillo.
Join us for the 41° SAGRA DEGLI SPAGHETTI AI FUNGHI PORCINI! The festivities kick off each evening at 7:00 PM: August 8th, August 9th, and August 10th. Find us at the municipal amphitheater in via Tufello, Salza Irpina (AV). Enjoy live music nightly: MARMY on August 8th, 'E FIGLI 'E MASANIELLO - I MAESTRI BOTTARI on August 9th, and SAL on August 10th. An exhibitor area will feature local artisans and creatives. Parking is available for cars in the ample lots on via Vignole, via Manfra, and via Banda di Luccaro. RVs and buses have a dedicated free parking area at the municipal gym on via Francesco Manfra, just 100 meters from the event.
