The Sagra de u Cecu Maritu in Aguzzo, a charming hamlet within the municipality of Stroncone, is a delightful 14th-edition festival dedicated to the Cecu Maritu, a unique focaccia bread stuffed with wild herbs. The name's origin is tied to a curious tale: to meet her lover, a wife would tell her husband to go gather the herbs needed to prepare the pizza. Once home, to make her excuse even more believable, she would cook that very pizza, which later became famous as Cecu Maritu. Naturally, fun and dancing are guaranteed!
