The 26th edition of the Sacra Carne te Cavaddhru festival will take place in Seclì, a charming town in the province of Lecce. Organized by the Pro Loco di Seclì with the patronage of the Province of Lecce, this event celebrates the rich local culinary tradition centered around horse meat.
Indulge in a variety of local flavors, starting with classic bruschette. The main event features an array of traditional horse meat dishes, including 'Ntrame (a unique local preparation), tender Bresaola di cavallo, slow-cooked Carne in pignata, delicate Carpaccio di cavallo, savory Fettine di cavallo, flavorful Involtini di cavallo, delicious Polpettine di cavallo, and juicy Salsiccia di cavallo.
