The traditional Sagra di San Pietro in Romans di Varmo is a lively festival spanning two weekends, offering events for all tastes every evening. The program includes concerts with artists like "Renè", "Dj Ufone", "I Papu", "Cuori in Pista", "i Collegium", "Bacco x Bacco" and the "Crazy Etilic Band". Food stands offer grilled specialties, french fries, frico (a delicious local cheese and potato dish), and a seafood kitchen with fried calamari and mixed fried fish.
Indulge in a variety of delicious options including classic PAELLA, fresh PIZZA, and crispy french fries. Quench your thirst with refreshing MOJITOs, SANGRIA, or local beer. For dessert, enjoy ice cream and cakes. Don't miss the regional specialty, frico, along with hearty main courses like grilled prawns (GAMBERONI), fried calamari, mixed fried fish, and various grilled meats.
The festival kicks off on Friday, June 19th, with an aperitivo at 6:00 PM, followed by MOKAMBATA featuring FRANKIE NEL BOSCO and SARAH J.VOICE at 9:00 PM. Saturday, June 20th, and Sunday, June 21st, both feature food stands and kitchen opening at 6:00 PM, with a dedicated kids' area offering inflatable games from 6:00 PM. Dance the night away with DJ UFONE on Saturday at 9:00 PM and RENE on Sunday at 9:00 PM. Sunday also hosts a "BURRACO" tournament at 2:00 PM. On Thursday, June 25th, at 8:45 PM, in collaboration with the "Sot la nape" theater company, enjoy a charity cabaret show by "I PAPU" titled "A CHE PUNTO È LA ROTTA?". Friday, June 26th, at 8:30 PM, is a special culinary themed evening featuring PAELLA & SANGRIA, GAMBERONI & MOJTO, and PIZZA & BEER (reservations required by 12:00 PM on June 24th), followed by Latin American dancing with "CUORI IN PISTA". Saturday, June 27th, and Sunday, June 28th, again offer food stands and kitchen opening at 6:00 PM, with the kids' area from 6:00 PM. Dance to the "CRAZY ETILIC BAND" on Saturday at 9:00 PM and "BACCOXBACCO" Trio Live Revival 70/80/90 on Sunday at 9:00 PM. Sunday also features a "TRUCCO" competition at 9:00 AM. The grand finale on Monday, June 29th (San Pietro Day), includes a Holy Mass with a procession through the town at 6:30 PM, food stands and kitchen opening from 6:00 PM, the kids' area from 6:00 PM, and a grand finale concert with "COLLEGIUM" at 9:00 PM. The well-stocked food stands will offer grilled specialties, french fries, frico, beer, cakes, and ice cream throughout the festival. The kitchen will also feature seafood specialties like fried calamari and mixed fried fish. Grilling and kitchen services will be available on Saturday, June 20th, Sunday, June 21st, Saturday, June 27th, Sunday, June 28th, and Monday, June 29th. The festival area will be partially covered by a marquee.
