PolentAnffas celebrates tradition, community, and solidarity around the table with its 17th edition. This event offers a rich menu centered around polenta, featuring both traditional dishes and new creations, alongside special evenings with music, discussions, and a charity raffle. Takeaway service is also available.
Indulge in a wide array of polenta-based dishes, from classic preparations like Polenta e Zola (polenta with Gorgonzola cheese) and Ragù di Carne con Polenta (meat sauce with polenta) to unique local specialties such as Pulenta Ucia coi Fich e Sigole (a sweet and savory polenta with figs and onions) and Polenta Tortellosa. You'll also find hearty main courses like Spiedo Bresciano con Polenta (Brescian spit-roasted meat with polenta), Stinco al Forno con Polenta (oven-baked pork shank with polenta), and Grigliata Mista (mixed grill). Don't miss the traditional desserts and various appetizers, including local cheeses and cured meats.
The festival kicks off on Thursday, October 8th at 6:00 PM with "PARLIAMONE: Amministratore di Sostegno: da dove si parte?" a discussion led by Dr. Laura Bonom and Lawyer Giulia Bravi. That same evening, try the special new dish: PULENTA UCIA COI FICH E SIGOLE. From Friday, October 9th to Sunday, October 11th, the special dish will be FOIOLO. On Thursday, October 15th, discover another new special: POLENTA TORTELLOSA. Friday, October 16th at 10:30 PM features a CONCERTO COLLETTIVO (bring your instrument and voice!). From Friday, October 16th to Sunday, October 18th, the special dish is SALAMI DEI MORT. On Sunday, October 18th, the special dish is SPIEDO BRESCIANO CON POLENTA (reservations only). The special prize drawing for the charity raffle is on Sunday, October 18th at 2:00 PM, followed by a Holy Mass in memory of the beloved departed of Anffas Crema at 4:00 PM. The charity raffle is open throughout the event.
