On Friday, October 16th, the PIASE Festival 2026 makes a stop in San Giovanni Lupatoto, at Teatro Astra. This widespread festival from the Ecomuseo Aquae Planae ("piase" means pleasure in dialect) runs from September 4th to October 18th, spanning 21 municipalities in the Veronese Plain with events focused on community, movement, and local territory. The program includes "Otobre otobreto in cantina o soto el portegheto" and "Pugnetto. Storia di un bambino di pane." For dinner, enjoy a special "Cena dietro le quinte" (Dinner Behind the Scenes) at 7:45 PM, curated by Bar Lo Spuntino and Bar Da Giulietta. This unique dining experience takes place in the Ridotto of Teatro Astra, just steps from the stage, offering an unusual perspective of the theater. The menu features finger food, risotto al tastasale, and Torta della Pace di Paquara, accompanied by wine, water, and coffee, all in an intimate and evocative atmosphere, truly “behind the scenes.” Many experiences require mandatory booking on the Ecomuseo website.
